The International Conference on Wider-Uptake of Water Resource Recovery from Wastewater Treatment – ICWRR2024 was the final conference of the Project “Achieving Wider uptake of watersmart solutions”.
The event was organized by Palermo University and was supported by the International Water Association (IWA)
The UDM Conference dealt with the main and advanced topics related to modelling the urban drainage system (e.g., water quality and quantity, urban flooding and modelling, urban flood forecasting and risk analysis, socio-economic interactions and modelling tools, etc…) by focusing the attention on the interrelationships among the entire water cycle, environment and society. The UDM created a forum for promoting the discussion amongst scientists, professionals and academia on urban drainage thus providing to women and men of this field decisive ideas.
The FICWTM Conference created a forum for promoting the discussion amongst scientists, professionals and academia in different areas of the broader theme of environmental engineering and sciences. FICWTM 2017 is also a part of the research project PRIN-GHG which is about the reduction of greenhouse gas from wastewater treatment plants.
